About the role
- Effectively supervise, coach, and mentor the Community Banking Associate team to achieve performance expectations, uphold standards, and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and communication
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service experiences and resolve inquiries and service deficiencies promptly and accurately
- Maintain precision in balancing and managing vault, office currency, and coin levels, while ensuring adherence to controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance
- Facilitate office-wide success by guiding the team to identify sales opportunities and make referrals to other departments or services
- Mitigate risks by ensuring strict compliance with policies, procedures, and security protocols to protect the bank and customers
- Lead by example in building relationships with customers and expanding financial solutions
- Supervise the Community Banking Associate team to ensure efficient transaction processing and exceptional customer service
- Support and coach team members in meeting sales goals, balancing performance, and adhering to bank standards
- Oversee operational functions such as cash management, vault supervision, and ATM servicing
- Coordinate workflow and collaborate with the Community Banking Manager to achieve office goals
- Participate in team staffing and development processes, including onboarding and performance management
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years as a Community Banking Supervisor, Head Teller, Operational Specialist with advanced working knowledge of operational and administrative branch banking functions
- Extraordinary leadership and management skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Effective communication
- Ability to open accounts and contribute toward achieving office sales goals
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Capacity to lift and move currency/coin (up to 50 lbs.)
