About the role

  • Translate high-level requirements into working AWS infrastructure designs
  • Independently design and implement public-facing web architectures
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
  • Ensure systems are secure, observable, and cost-efficient
  • Make practical tradeoff decisions between serverless vs EC2, managed vs custom
  • Work closely with development and leadership to solution

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering (10+ preferred)
  • Deep AWS expertise in production environments
  • Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation
  • Strong CI/CD and source control experience
  • Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end cloud solutions
  • Strong automation and scripting capabilities, including Python or similar languages
