About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the team by doing research, drafting scripts and paper edits, transcribing and reviewing interview footage, and editing videos.
Assist on shoots and interviews, participating in brainstorms and meetings.
Pitch topics and provide background research for podcast episodes.
Assist with remote and in-person episode tapings.
Edit podcast taping transcripts and prepare publish packaging for podcast episodes.
Research video topics, draft scripts, review and transcribe video footage.
Edit short videos for social media and help copyedit video content.
Assist with remote or in-person video recording sessions or photo shoots.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently matriculated undergraduate students or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Demonstrated interest in video production, photography, journalism, and storytelling.
Excellent writing and research skills.
Experience with video editing and experience working in an editorial environment preferred.
Able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize.
