About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the team by doing research, drafting scripts and paper edits, transcribing and reviewing interview footage, and editing videos.
- Assist on shoots and interviews, participating in brainstorms and meetings.
- Pitch topics and provide background research for podcast episodes.
- Assist with remote and in-person episode tapings.
- Edit podcast taping transcripts and prepare publish packaging for podcast episodes.
- Research video topics, draft scripts, review and transcribe video footage.
- Edit short videos for social media and help copyedit video content.
- Assist with remote or in-person video recording sessions or photo shoots.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently matriculated undergraduate students or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Demonstrated interest in video production, photography, journalism, and storytelling.
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Experience with video editing and experience working in an editorial environment preferred.
- Able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize.
