About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administering, maintaining, and optimizing Arcera's Microsoft-based IT infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical systems while supporting business operations and continuous improvement.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2019/2022/2025) and associated roles/services (DNS, DHCP, File/Print, IIS).
- Administer Active Directory (on-premises and hybrid with Entra ID/Azure AD): manage users, groups, group policies (GPO).
- Administer Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune (for device management).
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patching, and updates.
- Incident response, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, connectivity problems and perform root cause analysis.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell scripting, create custom scripts for monitoring/diagnostics, and support configuration management.
- Ensure security compliance: apply patches and support the remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support, documentation, and training to end-users or junior staff; collaborate on IT projects.
- Maintain inventory, asset documentation, and prepare reports on system status.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Over 4 years in IT systems administration, with strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience working in a GxP environment is a plus
- Any Microsoft certifications are a plus.
