Associate Accountant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assists in the development, implementation and/or maintenance of accounting systems
- Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations
- Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements
- Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures
- Provides record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions
- Prepares federal, state and local reports and tax returns
- Assists in the setup of processes and procedures for revenue reporting and compliance
- Generates revenue reports for internal and/or external use
- Interprets reports for managers/stakeholders
- Reviews and tracks billing information ensuring accuracy and compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with Excel Spreadsheets desired
