About the role
- Deliver radiation therapy to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the treatment process
- Operate Varian 21 EX/iX equipment
- Chart patient treatments using EPIC ARIA
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Utilize medical imaging (CT, mammography) as part of treatment planning and delivery
- Work Day shift 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
- Maintain patient records and adhere to radiation safety and clinical protocols
Requirements
- 1 year(s) of Experience
- Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT (T) (Radiation Therapy), CA State License
- A valid certification or license in radiation therapy from an accredited institution
- Charting: EPIC ARIA Skillset required, EPIC preferred
- Skill with Varian 21 EX/iX equipment required
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to radiation therapy
- Experience or training in critical care and acute care settings preferred
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques such as CT and mammography highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
