About the role

  • Lead Management (30%): Receive and evaluate incoming sales leads, determine potential, direct appropriately, maintain and update CRM, nurture leads through the sales funnel, monitor pipeline progress, and guide leads to appropriate ATD services in collaboration with program and coaching teams and Marketing and Communications.
  • Relationships Stewardship (30%): Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with institutional stakeholders, maintain regular communication with new, returning, and former institutions, acquire knowledge of institution decision-making, keep colleges engaged until ready to join or re-engage, and organize/attend events to enhance relationships.
  • College Engagement & Insight (20%): Develop understanding of college student success goals and strategic objectives, develop reports demonstrating college needs, gather insights, assess college satisfaction, recommend solutions aligned with college goals, and stay informed on higher education trends.
  • General Operations (20%): Manage role operations including quote building, Statements of Work and invoices, support development and execution of SOPs, participate in staff meetings and events, manage/train College Relationship Coordinators, interface with Finance for invoicing accuracy, manage CRM for pipeline/reporting accuracy, and conduct research and analysis for data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years related experience, preferably in membership management in the nonprofit association field.
  • Experience within a community college setting required.
  • Prior relationship building and customer service experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with higher education network participants and with coworkers.
  • Comfort with absorbing and interpreting large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data from different sources.
  • Ability to efficiently craft clear and concise actionable written summaries and supporting evidence for relationship managers.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office 365, MS Excel, and Tableau preferred.
  • Ability to travel occasionally per department and organizational needs.
