About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and scale features that power Achievers Celebrate™, a platform designed to help organizations celebrate the moments that matter and never miss employee milestones.
  • You’ll contribute to systems that automate service awards, enable personalized celebration cards, and support recognition across onboarding, anniversaries, and key career moments.
  • As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Achievers, you are a force multiplier. You possess an AI-first mentality: you actively leverage modern AI tools to accelerate your workflow, and you are excited about integrating intelligent, generative features into the UI/UX.
  • You care deeply about accessibility (WCAG), elegant architecture, and solving complex problems at scale.
  • You don’t just write code; you take deep ownership, drive architectural decisions, mentor your peers, and embrace innovation and learning from failure.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of relevant professional frontend software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering complex web applications at scale.
  • The AI Workflow Advantage: you have a strong, demonstrated habit of utilizing AI tools (such as Claude and GCP Gemini Code Assist) throughout the SDLC to drastically improve your velocity, code quality, and overall daily developer workflow.
  • Frontend Mastery: advanced professional experience with React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and state management and a commitment to building inclusive software. Experience designing and scaling micro frontend architectures is a massive plus.
  • Agile Communicator: excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can explain complex architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Quality Focused: strong advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD). Extensive experience with modern unit testing and UI/E2E testing frameworks.
  • Polyglot Mindset: excellent programming skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate other languages in our stack (Python, Go) when needed.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent real-world experience.
