Own the product roadmap for billing, invoicing, payments, and cash flow-related features across both customer-facing and internal tools
Design and evolve our billing infrastructure, including prepaid balances, monthly invoicing, usage tracking, and reconciliation
Work with Finance, RevOps, and Engineering to automate and streamline invoice generation, tax compliance (e.g. VAT, GST), and revenue recognition workflows
Improve the payment experience for customers managing recognition budgets, including support for credit cards, ACH, and corporate procurement channels
Collaborate with enterprise customers to understand procurement workflows, POs, and approval chains
Partner with other product teams to ensure smooth budget management, reward redemption accounting, and accurate reporting
Track and improve metrics like failed payment rate, invoice dispute volume, and customer satisfaction with billing
Ensure global scalability of billing systems with support for multi-currency, tax localization, and regional compliance
Requirements
3–6 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on billing, payments, or financial operations
Experience working on SaaS, marketplaces, or platforms with transactional flows
Strong understanding of subscription billing models, usage-based pricing, and prepaid balance systems
Familiarity with payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Adyen), accounting or ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite), and tax engines (e.g., Avalara)
Comfort working with SQL or BI tools to analyze billing trends and customer usage
Exposure to global billing challenges (multi-currency, tax compliance, international payouts)
A collaborative approach to cross-functional partnership, especially with Finance, Customer success, and Engineering
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in rewards, employee engagement, or HR tech platforms is advantageous
