About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the strategic multi-year funding roadmap supporting Achieve's growth, reporting to the President of Achieve Lending
  • Design and guide Achieve's diversified funding stack across cost of capital, certainty of takeout, capacity, and resilience
  • Architect and oversee forward flow agreements, warehouse lines, the asset-backed securitization program, and credit box alignment
  • Partner with Finance and Treasury to manage corporate liquidity and maintain an operational cushion against market risk
  • Transform legacy funding processes into an AI-enabled Capital Allocation Engine with algorithmic best execution
  • Sponsor and scale predictive pricing, investor allocations, risk/prepayment monitoring, and automated deal structuring
  • Oversee an institutional-grade unified loan data warehouse and self-service investor reporting portal
  • Extend credit and stress scenario modeling to emulate major rating agencies' models
  • Improve cross-functional operating rhythms between Capital Markets and other Achieve teams
  • Synthesize investor feedback, market intelligence, and asset preference shifts
  • Establish funding gates for new product launches and credit expansions
  • Align revenue recognition policies, corporate cost of capital metrics, and balance sheet deployment
  • Formulate capital strategy and structural design for new lending products, including mortgage, auto, and credit cards
  • Partner with Credit Risk, Marketing, and Business Unit General Managers to optimize borrower acquisition, risk-adjusted returns, and investor appetite
  • Build high-performing cross-functional teams across Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of senior experience in consumer structured finance, investment banking, asset management, or fintech capital markets platforms
  • 3–5+ years leading the Capital Markets function
  • Proven history managing programmatic ABS platforms
  • Experience negotiating committed forward-flow and warehouse facilities
  • Experience managing through complex liquidity environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative discipline
  • Deep familiarity with structural waterfalls, stress simulations, and advanced modeling
  • Proven ability to manage outcomes, treat investor demand as a managed portfolio, and connect capital markets outcomes to enterprise value creation
  • Exceptional relationship-building and transparent communication skills
  • Experience building high-performing, cross-functional teams across Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance
  • MBA, CFA, or advanced degree in quantitative finance highly preferred
