About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own Achieve’s strategic multi-year funding roadmap and report directly to the President of Achieve Lending
- Transform Capital Markets activities into a world-class, programmatic effort aligning institutional investor demand with credit risk, origination types, and liquidity targets
- Define and maintain accountability for the performance plan for loan sales and securitization
- Design and guide the diversified funding stack across forward flow agreements, warehouse lines, ABS programs, and credit box alignment
- Partner with Finance and Treasury to manage corporate liquidity and maintain an operational cushion against market risk
- Lead transformation of legacy funding processes into an AI-enabled Capital Allocation Engine using algorithmic Best Execution
- Sponsor AI capabilities including predictive pricing, investor allocations, risk/prepayment monitoring, and automated deal structuring
- Oversee a unified loan data warehouse and self-service investor reporting portal
- Develop credit and stress scenarios that emulate major rating-agency models
- Improve cross-functional operating rhythms, synthesize investor and market intelligence, and establish funding gates for product launches and credit expansions
- Align revenue recognition policies, cost-of-capital metrics, and balance-sheet deployment
- Formulate capital strategy and structural design for new lending products, including mortgage, auto, and credit cards
- Partner with Credit Risk, Marketing, and business-unit GMs to optimize borrower acquisition, risk-adjusted returns, and investor appetite
- Ensure new asset designs, credit boxes, and yield profiles integrate with warehouse lines, forward-flow agreements, and ABS issuance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of senior experience in consumer structured finance, investment banking, asset management, or fintech capital markets platforms
- 3–5+ years leading the Capital Markets function
- Proven history managing programmatic ABS platforms
- Experience negotiating committed forward-flow and warehouse facilities
- Experience managing through complex liquidity environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative discipline
- Deep familiarity with structural waterfalls, stress simulations, and advanced modeling
- Proven ability to manage outcomes and connect capital markets results to long-term enterprise value creation
- Exceptional relationship-building and proactive transparency skills
- Experience building high-performing cross-functional teams across Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance
- MBA, CFA, or advanced degree in quantitative finance highly preferred
