About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the strategic multi-year funding roadmap to support Achieve’s growth
Report directly to the President of Achieve Lending
Transform Capital Markets activities into a programmatic effort aligning institutional investor demand with credit risk, origination types, and liquidity targets
Define and maintain accountability for loan sales and securitization performance
Design and guide Achieve’s diversified funding stack across forward flow agreements, warehouse lines, ABS, and credit box alignment
Partner with Finance and Treasury to manage corporate liquidity and maintain an operational cushion against market risk
Partner with Technology to build an AI-enabled Capital Allocation Engine using algorithmic Best Execution
Sponsor predictive pricing, investor allocations, risk/prepayment monitoring, and automated deal structuring capabilities
Oversee a unified loan data warehouse and self-service investor reporting portal
Develop credit and stress scenario models emulating major rating agencies
Improve cross-functional operating rhythms with Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Finance, Treasury, Marketing, and business units
Establish funding gates for new product launches and credit expansions
Align revenue recognition, corporate cost of capital metrics, and balance sheet deployment
Formulate capital strategy and structural design for new lending products, including mortgage, auto, and credit cards
Build high-performing cross-functional teams across Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of senior experience in consumer structured finance, investment banking, asset management, or fintech capital markets platforms
3–5+ years leading the Capital Markets function
Proven history managing programmatic ABS platforms
Experience negotiating committed forward-flow and warehouse facilities
Experience managing complex liquidity environments
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative discipline
Deep familiarity with structural waterfalls, stress simulations, and advanced modeling
Proven ability to manage outcomes and connect capital markets outcomes to long-term enterprise value creation
Exceptional relationship-building and transparent communication skills
Experience building high-performing, cross-functional teams across Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance
