About the role
- Proactively partner with product managers, designers, engineers, marketers, and researchers in understanding key user needs and directly contributing to business objectives.
- Build and develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate solutions to cross-functional partners.
- Translate business goals and regulatory constraints into clear, intuitive, and compliant user experiences.
- Influence product strategy by identifying opportunities, framing tradeoffs, and advocating for the user.
- Conduct competitive explorations and leverage conversion best practices to develop new and innovative approaches to boost performance.
- Use, contribute to, and evolve our design system to maintain consistency and scalability across products.
- Take ownership of learning the industry and helping your teams reach business outcomes through a data-driven approach.
- Facilitate design workshops, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative activities to foster a co-creation environment and ensure design quality.
- Enable teams to build products without friction through detailed documentation of guidelines, recommendations, and processes.
- Effectively communicate the intention and constraints within your design work to partners and stakeholders in order to drive clarity and alignment.
- Mentor other designers and support their growth through guidance, feedback, and setting an example of best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience working as an Individual Contributor as a hands-on Designer on multiple products
- Comfort working within regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools.
- Experience in creating consumer facing design solutions that scale across platforms and devices (desktop, mobile, etc).
- Demonstrate a high bar of quality in both interaction & visual design and strong technical skills.
- Knowledgeable about new technologies and processes within the field of design, WCAG requirements, Android, and iOS guidelines.
- Track-record of success working with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders and partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences across the organization.
