About the role

  • Serve as the Finance Business Partner for one of Achieve Lending’s Business Units to drive business outcomes through strategic & analytical support
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders (ie. Product, Capital Markets, Pricing, Credit Sales, and Marketing) to drive topline growth and identify emerging risks/opportunities
  • Develop and own comprehensive short-term and long-range financial plans, in alignment with Achieve's product development and go-to-market strategies
  • Lead Strategic Finance workstreams for Lending, including capital allocation, scenario modeling, and ROI analysis to support long-term growth and efficiency
  • Define, track, and optimize key funnel conversion metrics with Marketing, Product and Sales (ie. customer acquisition, CAC/LTV, and channel performance)
  • Collaborate with Capital Markets to evaluate funding strategy and sources, including market implications on pricing and product mix.
  • Partner with Pricing and Analytics to monitor margins, customer segmentation, price sensitivity, and competitive dynamics to optimize unit economics.
  • Develop and refine models supporting revenue recognition, cost structure optimization, and forward-looking projections.
  • Prepare and present executive-level insights, dashboards, and reports to guide strategic decision-making, and promote accountability for results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in either financial planning and analysis, investment banking, management consulting, or a similar finance function; Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • BA/BS in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in capital markets, funding strategy, or debt structuring within a lending or financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or contributing to pricing strategy, unit economics modeling, and customer profitability analysis.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with GTM and Product leaders to drive alignment between financial objectives and operational execution.
  • Strong foundational skills in financial modeling and analysis with an attention to detail.
  • Experience in supporting project management tasks, maintaining confidentiality and integrity throughout.
  • Background in Operations Finance, Business Operations, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability to quickly respond to changing business needs and complex business environments.
  • A critical thinker who can investigate financial models and offer thoughtful insights and improvements.
