About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Incident Resolution and Support
Monitor, identify and resolve issues reported by users in the SAP QM, PP, DMS modules and legacy systems;
Ensure incidents are resolved within agreed timelines (SLA);
Log and document all issues and solutions.
Problem Analysis and Diagnosis
Perform detailed analysis of system errors and failures;
Identify root causes to prevent recurrence;
Test and validate solutions before deploying to production.
Preventive Maintenance and Support
Conduct periodic reviews to identify potential failures, apply updates/notes, support packages, cloud environment checks, log table reduction, etc.;
Monitor processes and systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Documentation and Training
Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of implemented processes and solutions;
Deliver training to end users and internal teams on SAP functionalities.
Improvements and Project Support
Propose system improvements to optimize business processes;
Collaborate with AMS, improvement teams and project teams.
Integration and Technical Support
Ensure SAP integration with other systems.
User and Technical Team Relations
Act as intermediary between business users and the technical team;
Manage expectations and communicate status of issues or system changes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or Information Technology.
Courses or certifications in SAP PP and SAP QM modules or related areas;
Current or recent experience in Systems support roles (SAP PP / SAP QM / SAP DMS);
Current or recent experience in SAP implementation projects;
Experience with system improvements or support;
Strong knowledge of problem analysis, crisis management facilitation and performance KPIs;
Experience transitioning projects into operations;
Support for production and quality management systems (legacy/support);
Maintain up-to-date regulatory documentation and act as the IT focal point for matters such as documents, training, procedures and work instructions;
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred / Differentiators: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry; Validation of Computerized Systems; GxP – Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); Commissioning and Validation – IQ/OQ/PQ; SAP APO/IBP; Support systems such as SE-SUITE, Irisk, Veeva.
