Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure execution of monthly accounting closings within deadlines, ensuring accuracy of information and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Collaborate with partner areas, support audits, and standardize/improve accounting processes, contributing to risk reduction and operational efficiency gains.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with current accounting standards;
Participate in accounting consolidation processes and reporting of results to controllership and related areas;
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing technical assistance;
Perform monthly accounting close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and accuracy of information;
Prepare and review manual journal entries;
Prepare and review account reconciliations;
Prepare technical analyses for complex accounting topics;
Actively participate in strategic projects;
Serve as a technical reference, supporting the guidance and development of mid-level and junior analysts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting with active CRC (Brazilian Regional Accounting Council registration).
Solid experience in month-end close, including reconciliations, provisions, reclassifications, and accounting adjustments.
Solid experience in preparing Financial Statements.
Knowledge or experience with ERP systems (SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA).
Analytical and critical thinking.
Clear and assertive communication.
Proactivity and ability to anticipate issues.
Autonomy and ownership mindset.
Hands-on profile.
Experience with contingencies and payroll processes is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of consolidation systems (e.g., BPC and Group Report).
