About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the operational and strategic relationship with third-party/outsourced collection agencies
  • Conduct periodic site visits to partners to monitor operations, perform audits and strengthen relationships
  • Set performance targets and monitor indicators (KPIs)
  • Lead performance meetings and action plans for continuous improvement
  • Analyze productivity, recovery, efficiency and other portfolio indicators
  • Define and review portfolio allocation and reallocation criteria
  • Assess agency performance for strategic decisions (expansion, reduction or replacement)
  • Lead partner onboarding, implementation and offboarding processes
  • Perform operational audits and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), the Consumer Protection Code and internal rules
  • Support commercial negotiations (contracts, SLAs and compensation models)
  • Develop dashboards, management reports and executive presentations
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, channels and collection strategies
  • Collaborate with teams such as Technology, Data, Product, Legal and Compliance
  • Research market trends and propose initiatives for innovation and performance gains.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum technical degree or certification
  • At least 24 months of experience managing collection agencies or related areas
  • Knowledge of B2C collection operations
  • Experience managing by indicators (KPIs)
  • Knowledge of credit recovery strategies
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Power BI (reading and interpretation)
  • Experience in data analysis and operational planning
  • Knowledge of LGPD and the Consumer Protection Code as applied to collections
  • Experience with SLA management, auditing and negotiation
  • Postgraduate degree (desirable)
  • Consolidated experience in the area (over 60 months — desirable)
  • Knowledge of SQL and BI tools (desirable)
  • Experience modeling indicators (desirable)
  • Budget management and financial math (desirable)
  • Knowledge of CRM, collection systems and omnichannel (desirable)
  • Experience managing suppliers (desirable)
  • Knowledge of provisioning, delinquency and credit recovery (desirable)
  • Familiarity with agency compensation models (desirable)
