About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide financial leadership and support to Acelero Learning West & South Regions delegates, ensuring compliance, accurate financial reporting, and effective budget management
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve financial efficiency and optimize resource utilization to enhance the overall financial performance of the Delegates
  • Oversee the Finance Coordinator(s) and collaborate with Support Center teams to optimize financial operations and support programmatic goals
  • Ensure fiscal integrity and compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and OMB circulars through the implementation of sound internal controls and adherence with fiscal policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, fiscal management, or a related field required; CPA preferred
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Produce GAAP basis financials via financial software
  • Experience with MIP or similar software and report generation preferred
  • Microsoft proficient with an excellence in excel
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people
  • Commitment to Acelero Learning’s mission and values
  • Head Start experience preferred
