About the role

  • Consults with Retailers to maximize retail sales and profits
  • Regularly meets with Retailers to assess business needs and develop solutions
  • Acts as the liaison between Retailers and Corporate
  • Coaches Retailers on implementing recommended voluntary actions
  • Assures successful Retailer loyalty and coordinates execution of Corporate initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of District Manager experience with multi-store experience for Fortune 500 retailer
  • Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of work experience as District Manager or big box leadership experience in lieu of degree
  • Deep understanding of retail operations and business fundamentals
  • Proven ability to influence Retailers and drive execution of optimal retail operations
  • Ability to access the local competitive environment and develop appropriate retail strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong PC skills to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Technology adaptive to embrace Ace’s Retail Technology platform
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work flexible hours and regularly travel overnight
