About the role
- Conduct detailed reviews of ACE courses throughout their development, examining content accuracy, alignment, formatting consistency, and regulatory compliance while assessing materials from both instructor and student perspectives.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers and instructional designers to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in development meetings to provide QA expertise.
- Evaluate courses for student engagement opportunities.
- Create and maintain quality assurance documentation.
- Generate detailed reports on findings and trends.
- Apply advanced editing and fact-checking skills to ensure all educational materials meet established standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in curriculum, education, assessment, or related field; Ed.D. / Ph.D. preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in higher education quality assurance and curriculum development.
- Teaching experience in higher education and/or K–12.
- Demonstrated expertise in QA methodologies, educational technology, and learning theory.
- Proficiency in assessment design and quality online teaching frameworks (Quality Matters certification or similar credentials preferred).
- Superior critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS) platforms.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities and deliverables simultaneously while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of the APA 7 style manual and academic writing standards.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and make strategic recommendations.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to work independently and with individuals at all levels of the organization in a virtual setting.
