About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for TomoTherapy and CyberKnife customers
  • Manage and resolve customer equipment issues on-site
  • Timely response to customer requirements regarding medical equipment and therapy
  • Support in-house service personnel as needed
  • Maintain communication with manager and team members regarding customer matters
  • Provide installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance support for systems
  • Train other Customer Support staff and site personnel as required
  • Maintain documentation of work activities
  • Assist in the review and development of service documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in field service, installation, and troubleshooting complex electronic equipment or bachelor’s degree in relevant field with less field experience considered
  • Strong system-level troubleshooting skills
  • Strong computer skills with an understanding of basic networking
  • Must be able to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences including executive level management
  • Previous experience in large medical device field service strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
