About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide on-site and remote technical support for TomoTherapy and CyberKnife customers
- Manage and resolve customer equipment issues on-site
- Timely response to customer requirements regarding medical equipment and therapy
- Support in-house service personnel as needed
- Maintain communication with manager and team members regarding customer matters
- Provide installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance support for systems
- Train other Customer Support staff and site personnel as required
- Maintain documentation of work activities
- Assist in the review and development of service documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years’ experience in field service, installation, and troubleshooting complex electronic equipment or bachelor’s degree in relevant field with less field experience considered
- Strong system-level troubleshooting skills
- Strong computer skills with an understanding of basic networking
- Must be able to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences including executive level management
- Previous experience in large medical device field service strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
