About the role
- Research new circuit technologies to incorporate into new designs
- Select circuit board components and conduct cost estimates
- Design analog and digital circuits, including simulation, BOM creation, schematic capture, and board layout.
- Write, simulate, and test HDL for FPGA-based designs
- Prototype circuit boards to validate design concepts
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to bring designs to production
- Test and validate designs, analyzing hardware failures and implementing improvements
- Work closely with software engineers to bring up prototypes and troubleshoot issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field
- Experience in circuit design and development.
- Skills required include component selection, circuit design, manufacturing, and testing.
- This role requires a strong understanding of hardware development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the US
