About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) to adult clients
- Teach and reinforce skills through coaching, modeling, and guidance
- Complete Functional Assessments and develop Individual Treatment Plans
- Support clients in improving daily living, social, coping, and independent living skills
- Build professional, respectful, and culturally responsive relationships
- Travel throughout the community to meet clients in home and community settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records in compliance with DHS Rule 245I standards
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with treatment teams and community providers to support client success
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field and: 2,000 hours of supervised experience providing services to individuals with mental illness; or Fluency in a qualifying non-English language, completion of 40 hours of mental health services training, and weekly clinical supervision until 2,000 hours are obtained.
- 4,000 hours of experience providing services to persons with mental illness.
- Current graduate student in a behavioral science or related field completing an approved clinical placement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems
- Reliable transportation and active auto insurance
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
