Assistant Controller
AccountingDepartment.comAssistant Controller providing high-level financial support to clients in a remote capacity. Responsible for financial analysis, tax form reviews, and maintaining reporting dashboards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides high level support to several Controllers
- Assists with various client related financial tasks
- Contributes to financial analysis and develops KPIS
- Maintains reporting dashboards and researches industry-specific benchmarks
- Reviews and approves various tax forms
- Reconciles tax returns and coordinates with external auditors
- Assists the Controller with special projects and client transitions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7 years relevant accounting experience
- Minimum 1 year of CPA firm or outsourced accounting experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Experience with financial systems and data query tools
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive demeanor
- High degree of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
- Strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
