About the role

  • You qualify incoming support requests and handle the initial processing — both technically and organizationally.
  • You independently process standard changes according to defined procedures.
  • You reliably resolve simple incidents yourself and escalate complex cases to the appropriate specialist teams.
  • You monitor monitoring systems and initiate initial measures when necessary.
  • You document and communicate clearly and with a service-oriented approach in the ticketing system.

Requirements

  • You speak fluent German (C1) and good English (B2).
  • You have completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist/Fachinformatiker or IT systems technician/IT-Systemelektroniker) and have initial experience in a service desk.
  • You have technical understanding of IT infrastructure (e.g., virtualization, backup, monitoring, firewalls).
  • You are familiar with Windows servers and have ideally worked with ITSM tools such as AutoTask.
  • You are familiar with ITIL processes or may even hold an ITIL® Foundation certification.
  • You work in a structured, service-oriented, and reliable manner — even when handling a high ticket volume.
  • You communicate in a friendly, clear, and solution-oriented way — both on the phone and in writing.
  • You are willing to learn and aim to develop professionally over time.
