About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute assigned mobile app testing scenarios for a financial management mobile application
Follow detailed testing instructions and workflows
Record the smartphone screen while completing test cases
Identify and document unexpected app behavior
Submit screen recordings and concise test reports
Report issues clearly and accurately in English
Complete assignments within project deadlines
Perform approximately one 30-minute testing assignment per week
Deliver assignments within 1 to 2 business days
Participate over an approximately 2 to 3-month project period

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have an active personal bank account with a bank operating in Finland
Must be willing to log into the application using the applicant's own bank account during testing
Must own a smartphone running iOS 18 or later or Android 7 or later
Must have an active mobile phone number registered in Finland
Comfortable understanding written English instructions
Comfortable following English-language testing guidelines
Comfortable writing brief test reports in English
Comfortable installing and using mobile applications
Comfortable following detailed step-by-step instructions
Comfortable identifying unexpected mobile app behavior
Comfortable recording a smartphone screen
Comfortable submitting reports accurately and on time
No previous software testing, QA testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), or mobile application testing experience required
