About the role
- Act as supporting role to the Senior Pricing Analyst, working with Sales, Bid/Contract teams, Administration and Management to formulate timely pricing responses
- Analyze various price requests from the field and make recommendations to management
- Support maintaining all existing contract pricing
- Carry out routine and semi-routine tasks including reporting functions, database maintenance, and PowerPoint presentations
- Ensure pricing issues are handled in a timely and efficient manner
- Analyze price requests in various profit scenarios
- Consult with Canon USA’s Sales organization to ensure competitiveness and acquire additional sales
- Understand Canon’s various pricing, promotions, program terms and guidelines
- Heavy use of Excel for analysis, pivot tables, v-lookups, and other advanced functions
- Multi-tasking, detail orientation, and strong communication and relationship-building with internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
- 0 to 2 years of related experience
- Heavy MS Excel skills required such as Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, formulas, and advanced functions
- Analytics experience required
- Beginner to intermediate analytical skills
- Product knowledge of Canon products and understanding of pricing and promotions
- Understanding of program terms and guidelines
- Ability to multi task
- Attention to detail
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication and relationship building abilities
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; company will not pursue visa sponsorship
