About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python (FastAPI), and Java
- Build, enhance, and maintain backend APIs and integrations with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Automate identity and access management tasks, user lifecycle processes, and administrative workflows
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing applications and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement by following security, quality, and operational best practices
- Focus solutions on customer needs and banking industry standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and Linux environments
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Workflows, and GitOps practices
- Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and integration concepts
- Understanding of security best practices and platform quality
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to improve existing systems and drive DevOps best practices
- Experience with monitoring and observability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online and Microsoft Entra ID (nice to have)
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting (nice to have)
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (nice to have)
- Familiarity with or understanding of banking-related processes (nice to have)
- German language skills (nice to have)
