About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the key link between business experts and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear, structured requirements and pseudocode for implementation.
- Define and articulate product objectives, scope, and constraints, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term strategy.
- Contribute to backlog prioritization, write user stories and acceptance criteria in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, and support developers throughout the implementation phase.
- Analyze, model, and optimize business processes, recommending improvements and ensuring efficient, scalable solutions.
- Design and execute regression testing strategies, validate releases, and proactively identify risks and impacts of changes on the product.
- Facilitate communication across stakeholders, manage expectations, and deliver clear updates through presentations and documentation in tools like Confluence.
- Encourage best practices, support experimentation, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Coach and guide other Business Analysts, contributing to knowledge sharing and capability growth at organizational level.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments
- Strong understanding of business context and ability to translate it into technical requirements
- Experience in the Insurance industry
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, or similar
- Knowledge of databases and hands-on experience with SQL/MySQL
- Good understanding of SDLC and process modelling techniques
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in German and English.
