About the role

  • Manage User Lifecycle & Access: Oversee end-to-end user administration (joiner–mover–leaver), ensuring secure and business-aligned access
  • Process Access Requests & Governance: Handle access requests by validating approvals and ensuring compliance with policies
  • Design & Maintain Roles: Create and maintain single, composite, and derived roles using SAP standard tools
  • Support Authorization & Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve authorization issues using various tools
  • Ensure Compliance & Audit Readiness: Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and support GRC controls
  • Drive Reporting, Changes & Continuous Improvement: Generate and maintain reports on users, roles, and access distribution

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SAP Authorizations support
  • Hands-on experience with SAP user and role administration (PFCG, SUIM, SU01)
  • Good understanding of authorization troubleshooting tools (SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE)
  • Familiarity with SoD concepts and GRC processes
  • Experience working in ticket-based, SLA-driven environments
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a structured and reliable manner, combined with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to investigate and resolve issues effectively; risk-aware, security-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher required) and English
