About the role

  • You’ll lead and govern multi-disciplinary Estimating function supporting hyperscale data center programs.
  • You’ll establish and maintain firmwide estimating standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
  • You’ll oversee estimating activities across ROM, schematic, design development, and construction phases.
  • You’ll ensure estimates are accurate, defensible, and aligned with current labor, material, and market conditions.
  • You’ll direct benchmarking, cost validation, and value engineering initiatives.
  • You’ll manage estimate revisions, scope changes, and clearly communicate cost and schedule impacts.
  • You’ll serve as the senior estimating interface for clients, presenting cost plans and executive-level summaries.
  • You’ll support client CAPEX planning, program budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  • You’ll collaborate with internal program, delivery, and procurement teams to ensure cost alignment.
  • You’ll lead the development and governance of estimating tools, cost models, and benchmarks.
  • You’ll monitor market trends, escalation drivers, and cost risk factors.
  • You’ll recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing estimating leaders and teams.
  • You’ll drive continuous improvement, technology adoption, and scalability across the estimating function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Solid experience in construction estimating and/or cost management, with progressive responsibility on large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical data center construction programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary estimating teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction cost drivers, procurement strategies, and market conditions.
  • Ability to lead both conceptual (ROM) and detailed estimating efforts.
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
