About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, performance, compliance, and student outcomes of Acceleration Academies’ charter school portfolio
- Oversee charter schools in South Carolina and Ohio, ensuring academies operate with excellence while meeting enrollment, retention, academic, financial, and regulatory goals
- Partner closely with Academy Directors and cross-functional leaders to drive enrollment growth, student persistence, academic achievement, and charter performance
- Collaborate with the RVP, Board Relations & Strategic Partnerships to support governing boards, authorizers, and strategic charter initiatives
- Ensure compliance with charter contracts, state regulations, federal requirements, and organizational policies
- Monitor compliance, operational, and academic risk areas and implement corrective actions as needed
- Oversee charter school operations across multiple states and support the successful launch and integration of new charter schools and partnerships.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 7 years of educational leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years supervising multiple schools, sites, or educational programs
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple charter school locations
- Strong preference for experience overseeing charter schools across multiple states
- Experience driving enrollment growth, student retention, and academic performance outcomes
- Experience with charter accountability, compliance, governance, and operational management
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing organizational change.
