About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and appointment setting
- Conduct Sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using sales automation software to build cadences to connect with new prospects
- Qualify prospects and set appointments for Discovery calls
- Conduct outreach to target prospects in support of Sales and Marketing campaign initiatives
- Secure customer information to identify qualified “Sales ready” leads and prospective customers for future nurturing
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and implement lead-generation strategies
- Research new contacts in customer and prospect accounts and add them to SalesForce
- Research potential clients’ needs and pain points
- Schedule meetings and appointments for Field Sales
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
- Assist in preparing Sales materials and presentations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to achieve and set goals and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn
- Basic understanding of Sales principles and customer service practices
- Ability to travel 10-15%
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Familiarity with Outreach, LinkedIn, Demand Base and Marketo
