Virtual School Psychologist
ACCEL SchoolsLicensed School Psychologist at ACCEL Schools conducting virtual evaluations for K-12 students in Indiana. Collaborating with school teams and providing comprehensive evaluation reports.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students K through 12 according to federal, state, and school guidelines
- Familiarity with evaluation tools
- Complete Initial Evaluation and Re-evaluations
- Complete Assessment Plans, Review of Records and FBAs
- Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice tele-assessment standards
- Conduct other portions of the evaluation, including interviews and virtual observations, adaptive behavior, social/emotional behavior, and executive functioning assessments
- Integrate assessment results into a comprehensive evaluation report and submit paperwork as needed
- Present evaluation findings at meetings and collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility determination
- Excellent knowledge of principles and evidence-based practices
- Participating in training and meetings as needed
- Attend Evaluation meetings to discuss results of assessments
- Serve as a member on the MTSS/RTI Team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Professional Indiana Psychologist License
- Proficiency with computers and online documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exhibit sound judgment while maintaining that confidentiality
- Demonstrates a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy work ethic
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations
- Ability to make sound judgments after all available information has been gathered or communicated
- Demonstrates a mature attitude and insight into matters affecting department, self and / or company welfare
- Demonstrated leadership and management ability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks to meet deadlines consistently
- Ability to learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and from more senior team members
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
- Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
