Maintain knowledge of state reporting requirements for different states
Oversee/maintain Special Education, Limited English Proficiency (LEP), and Gifted information into Student Information System (SIS) or state system as needed
Maintain history records for Effective Date Records
Extract district(s’) data from various source systems and prepare data files
Upload data files into the data submission applications for processing and submission of data to the state Departments of Education
Ensure accurate and timely submission of data to the state, assuring all state reporting deadlines are met
Download Level 2 and monthly Payment reports
Investigate and trouble-shoot Level 1 and Level 2 errors as needed
Communicate errors/problems to school end-users and assist them to work through correcting their errors
Maintain staff data for staff reporting in third-party systems and/or state systems
Oversee work in ODDEX to resolve flags and errors
Complete Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) reporting
Complete Federal Low Income Count System (FLICS) reporting
Attend professional development offered by the state or local agencies
Pull Direct Certification data and prepare file for import
Gather data for sponsor reports and auditors
Pull data/reports for analysis and prepare monthly analysis reports when needed
Conduct a Grad audit on high school students
Serve as backup for other team members and assist Director on other states reporting when needed
Approve Time Sheets and PTO Requests as needed and assist Director with Team Management
Attend state related meetings and trainings as needed
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Three years’ prior state reporting experience with multiple states
Comprehensive state reporting knowledge and be able to learn multiple states reporting; Advanced proficiency in data entry and MS Office, including Excel and Word
Technology competencies and knowledge of software applications (i.e. PowerSchool, SalesForce, web base reporting systems, etc.)
Experience with help desk ticketing systems
Ability to work well under pressure, and effectively prioritize and execute tasks to consistently meet deadlines
High quality written and verbal communication skills
Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
Ability to work independently and also in a team environment
Successful completion of state and federal criminal background check
