About the role

  • The Health IT Specialist will support the implementation and optimization of EHR-based solutions across Acadia’s therapeutic areas.
  • This role is primarily field-facing, partnering with the account teams and working directly with health systems to scope workflow interventions, guide pilots, and capture feedback.
  • The HIT Specialist ensures that HIT solutions are adopted effectively at the customer level while serving as a bridge between field execution and Acadia’s central HIT strategy team.
  • Ensure that solutions are scoped, adopted, and continuously improved through close collaboration with provider IT teams and Acadia colleagues, including but not limited to brand marketing, market access, and compliance.
  • Establish feedback loops with field teams to capture adoption barriers and operational challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Informatics, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Health IT, EHR/CDS, or clinical informatics within pharmaceutical, biotech, or health system settings.
  • Direct experience working with major EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Oracle, Athena).
  • Demonstrated success implementing HIT solutions with IDNs, Clinicals, or other complex health systems.
  • Proven track record supporting pilots, rollouts, or adoption of HIT solutions within provider settings.
  • Ability to travel 50%, as required.
