About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, develop, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
- Ensure achievement of goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the area.
- Conduct follow-up meetings, provide feedback, and hold 1:1s with team members.
- Monitor the sales funnel, analyze metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Structure, document, and optimize commercial processes.
- Ensure correct CRM usage and data quality of recorded information.
- Support strategic negotiations and assist in resolving commercial challenges.
- Step into operations when needed, handling negotiations, customer interactions, or other commercial activities to ensure team performance.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and other teams to maximize results.
- Prepare management reports and present analyses that support decision-making.
- Participate in defining targets, sales campaigns, and growth strategies.
- Promote a culture of high performance, collaboration, continuous learning, and customer focus.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading commercial/sales teams.
- Experience with consultative selling, inside sales, and/or B2B sales.
- Experience managing KPIs, targets, and sales forecasts.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make decisions.
- Ability to develop people through feedback, coaching, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proactive attitude, ownership mentality, and willingness to step into operations when necessary.
- Experience in technology, education, or SaaS companies (preferred).
- Knowledge of HubSpot or other CRMs (preferred).
