About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a client-facing technical advisor throughout the pre-sales cycle, building credibility with technical and business stakeholders
  • Understand the competitive landscape and clearly articulate the value proposition and key differentiators of ACA products/offerings
  • Partner with Sales to plan and facilitate customer meetings, and where possible, support them (discovery, solutioning, and Q&A) and align on next steps
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality, audience-appropriate presentations and technical software demonstrations (live and remote), tailoring messaging to client goals and use cases
  • Facilitate consultative discovery to assess client requirements, uncover pain points, and translate needs into proposed solutions using Alpha
  • Effectively handle client objections and manage complex stakeholder dynamics by adapting positioning, content, and demonstrations to address concerns
  • Assist with client management for assigned opportunities, including meeting preparation, follow-up and communications
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key client stakeholders from procurement through delivery by consistently demonstrating value and expected outcomes
  • Constantly remain up to speed with current product developments and enhancements and proactively enable internal teams with client-ready messaging and demo assets
  • Build strong internal partnerships with ACA consultants, sales team members, and product team members to ensure consistent client experience and successful handoffs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field but business, finance, business management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5-9 years of experience in technical sales, solution engineer, or a related role
  • Understanding of industry, market, and the competitive landscape
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to explain complex technical concepts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) and enterprise software (desirable)
  • Prior experience with professional services (desirable)
  • Demonstrated professional integrity
  • Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs
  • Ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments on matters of significance
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients or attend industry events
  • Results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
