About the role
- Lead discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders to understand current file structures, ownership, usage, and dependencies.
- Gather, organize, and document business requirements, file inventories, and migration inputs.
- Guide stakeholders in determining the optimal location for content in SharePoint Online within a standardized future state.
- Develop and maintain readiness artifacts, including inventories, traceability documentation, decision logs, and migration support materials.
- Collaborate closely with project leadership to coordinate stakeholders, facilitate working sessions, track follow-ups, and ensure consistent documentation across workstreams.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, risks, and unresolved ownership questions, and work to drive clarity and resolution.
- Translate loosely defined business input into structured documentation and actionable next steps, enabling smooth migration execution.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Business Analyst experience in business-facing environments.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to lead clear, confident, and professional stakeholder conversations.
- Proven experience partnering directly with business users, not just technical teams.
- Naturally curious, comfortable asking thoughtful follow-up questions to quickly build understanding.
- Strong relationship builder with high EQ and a collaborative, personable style.
- Skilled at connecting the dots across fragmented or incomplete information.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, helping to create structure where it does not yet exist.
- Able to work effectively in Central Standard Time hours.
- Nice to Have: Experience supporting SharePoint Online, file share, content, or collaboration platform migrations.
- Nice to Have: Experience with unstructured data or document management environments.
- Nice to Have: Exposure to workplace modernization or enterprise collaboration initiatives.
