About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply platform engineering expertise in an agile team environment to produce well-organised, optimised and documented source code
  • Manage and support BMC Control-M infrastructure across distributed environments
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve scheduling failures, job execution issues, and workflow dependencies
  • Implement and maintain scheduling standards, governance, and operational procedures
  • Design and optimize complex job workflows, calendars, triggers, and event-driven scheduling solutions
  • Ensure platform stability, scalability, security, and performance
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to onboard new workloads

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience supporting Distributed Scheduling Platforms
  • Hands-on expertise in Workload Automation and Scheduling Services
  • Advanced administration and support of BMC Control-M Scheduling Services
  • Experience managing job scheduling across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments
  • Knowledge of event-driven scheduling, dependencies, calendars, and workload orchestration
  • Experience supporting mission-critical batch processing environments
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
