Key responsibilities & impact

Apply platform engineering expertise in an agile team environment to produce well-organised, optimised and documented source code
Manage and support BMC Control-M infrastructure across distributed environments
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve scheduling failures, job execution issues, and workflow dependencies
Implement and maintain scheduling standards, governance, and operational procedures
Design and optimize complex job workflows, calendars, triggers, and event-driven scheduling solutions
Ensure platform stability, scalability, security, and performance
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to onboard new workloads

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience supporting Distributed Scheduling Platforms
Hands-on expertise in Workload Automation and Scheduling Services
Advanced administration and support of BMC Control-M Scheduling Services
Experience managing job scheduling across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments
Knowledge of event-driven scheduling, dependencies, calendars, and workload orchestration
Experience supporting mission-critical batch processing environments
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
