About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing the Digital Transformation and Technology Risk environment within Absa Bank (Mauritius) Limited
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Absa policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Providing independent oversight of the technology control environment
- Driving all technology risk initiatives both in-country and from regional office
- Ensuring all Digital projects and initiatives are aligned to the project risk policy
- Drafting, enhancing and implementing policies, processes and security frameworks across the bank
- Acting as the Digital Transformation & Technology BCM Coordinator vis-à-vis ABML BCM Teams & Business functions
- Representing Technology Risk in the New Product assessment forum
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in computer science or in any Information Technology related fields
- IT Security Certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP) a definite advantage
- Cloud certifications preferred
- At least 5-6 years experience in IT security, technical or operations role
- Experience in technology risk/security role preferred
- Experience of financial services preferred
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and associated processes
- Familiarity with agile project management styles a distinct advantage
