About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct high priority investigations across all areas of the bank in South Africa and the Africa Regional Operations.
Respond to requests for investigations from various sources, including EXCO members.
Liaise with Head: Priority Investigations and Whistleblowing and mandate unit for investigations.
Manage investigations on an end-to-end basis efficiently and effectively.
Accountable for scoping investigation plans and quality of output.
Manage teams effectively and portray professional competence.

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree or equivalent; or Financial Services Qualification or post graduate diploma
10+ years professional experience
5+ years in a financial services organisation
2+ years in a managerial/senior coordination role in a financial institution
Relevant skills, knowledge and expertise to respond to investigation complexity
Proven track record in dealing with sensitive and complex issues
Experience in dealing closely with C suite clients.
