About the role

  • Lead and manage a procurement team responsible for short term insurance Procurement fulfillment across the full supplier lifecycle
  • Ensure suppliers deliver claims fulfilment in line with SLAs, scope of work, quality standards
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage supplier corrective action plans
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers
  • Monitor and report on cost leakage and supplier performance
  • Lead and develop the procurement team to ensure high performance
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure procurement activities meet operational requirements
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and risk management

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • 2–3 years experience in a supervisory or team leadership role in Procurement
  • Experience in non-motor procurement will be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Strong leadership and team management
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Analytical and cost management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and processes
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Higher Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field
