Design, build, and support easy-to-use React/TypeScript applications
Make and implement technology decisions that support business needs while maintaining security, privacy, and quality
Enhance existing systems with new functionality and improve performance, stability, quality, and security
Set standards for accessibility and design system use
Advocate for high standards, improve codebase quality of life, and limit technical debt
Develop deep user empathy and maintain a user-centric mindset

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years’ experience building, shipping, and supporting web applications
5+ years of experience with React
Independently worked on and delivered a small web app or an entire feature in a larger web app
Excitement about working in a mobile tech stack including React, TypeScript, and potentially Electron
Ability to work with autonomy and self-direction in a team environment
Willingness to contribute wherever needed in a fast-moving startup
Comfort working across domains and languages with curiosity to experiment and learn
Deep expertise using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows
Bonus: experience with audio playback, audio recording, file encryption, or online versus offline mode support
Authorization to work in the United States is addressed in the application form
Ability or willingness to commute to the SF or NY office at least three times per week is addressed in the application form
