About the role
- Represent employees in employment and workers' compensation matters at Abramson Labor Group
- Conduct legal research to support drafting of motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Draft and prepare complaints, meet and confer correspondence, briefs, discovery motions and dispositive motions
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies
- Take ownership of assigned workload and bring positivity to the workplace
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience in civil litigation
- Strong background in drafting pleadings and motions
- Deep understanding of civil litigation
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
