About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Management of Complex, Concurrent Projects: Lead the management of multiple high-complexity, strategically impactful projects across IT and Telecommunications, ensuring end-to-end delivery.
- Business Case and Feasibility: Drive ideation phases, feasibility studies, and the development of business cases and value models for new complex projects and services.
- Technology Scouting and Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement through market research, trend analysis, benchmarking, and scouting for new technological solutions.
- Co-creation of Solutions: Develop concepts and identify opportunities for collaboration and co-creation of innovative solutions to mitigate structural issues or specific business challenges.
- Strategic Influence and C-Level Engagement: Present innovation projects, scenarios, and advisory reports to Senior Management and the Board, directly influencing strategic decision-making.
- Lifecycle Governance (Hybrid): Ensure execution of project lifecycles in full compliance with ABR Telecom’s internal methodology, skillfully navigating between the PMBOK Guide and agile practices.
- Strategic Risk Management and Governance: Map, monitor, and manage critical risks, cross-project dependencies, and portfolio-level contingency plans to safeguard institutional deliveries.
- PMO Methodology Evolution: Define, propose, and implement structural improvements in processes, methodologies, control tools, and the PMO lessons-learned repository, promoting continuous improvement.
- Vendor Governance: Manage complex contracts and service delivery by strategic technology partners and specialized consultancies involved in project implementation.
- Service Transition and Go-Live: Lead and ensure the safe transition of new services and systems to the Operations team, guaranteeing the operational sustainability of delivered products.
- KPI and Reporting Architecture: Define the key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to assess implementation success and design the cadence of periodic status reports for different stakeholder levels.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, with a professional background aligned with medium- to high-complexity technical activities.
- Strong analytical capability, operational autonomy, and the ability to make a qualified contribution to the area’s results.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Specialization: Postgraduate degree or specialization desirable.
- Preferred fields: Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or related courses.
- Alternatively, equivalent technical experience, relevant certifications, or proven experience in higher-complexity projects may be accepted.
