About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Electrical Designer shall contribute and support the Power, Lighting, Grounding, Lightning Protection, Fire Alarm, and Systems or Low Voltage Engineering efforts for the firm.
The ED shall directly contribute to the Firm and its success through drafting and design efforts.
The ED shall execute drafting and design duties as required to ensure quality is always maintained.
Able to use computer software including Visual (or AGI32) and Microsoft Office.
Capable of interpreting information set forth in a Basis of Design, field surveys, and code research.
Performs system calculations.
Reviews shop drawing submittals, and travels to job sites to perform field verification.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years electrical drafting and design experience at an MEP Engineering firm or A-E firm
Associate degree in Drafting and Design preferred but not required
Proficient in REVIT
