About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct assessments, observe clients, and develop written intervention plans with behavioral strategies and recommendations.
- Train and support family members, support staff, and caregivers to implement therapeutic interventions effectively.
- Monitor client progress, analyze data, and revise intervention plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with North Carolina Medicaid policies, state regulations, and best practices in behavioral health.
- Maintain client privacy, report incidents, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for all clients.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have experience in developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Must possess strong analytical, decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively support clients and caregivers.
- Valid licensure, registration, or certification specific to discipline (BCBA, LBA, LPA, PA).
