About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gain knowledge and practical experience in understanding fits and tolerances for different components.
- Learn and apply root cause analysis techniques to identify the underlying causes of quality issues.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports based on product quality assessments and measurements.
- Learn the process of accepting inward materials and conducting quality checks.
- Understand how to issue materials from stores to the assembly line, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Assist in creating Goods Received Memos (GRMs) and material request documents.
- Perform First-In, First-Out (FIFO) analysis to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize waste.
- Participate in stock verification activities and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Accompany quality engineers on vendor site visits to conduct inspections and assess quality standards.
- Familiarize yourself with various tools and instruments used in quality control and measurement.
- Contribute to the digitization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality control and stores management.
