Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP close for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consolidation of intercompany activity.
Optimize cash visibility and forecasting; partner on AR/collections strategy to manage long DSO cycles and utilize credit facilities effectively.
Lead the implementation and scaling of accounting systems (billing, expenses, ERP) to automate workflows and strengthen internal controls.
Serve as the subject matter expert on revenue recognition, cost allocation, and business combinations, including drafting formal audit memos.
Drive audit readiness and change management; manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies (including healthcare-specific compliance).
Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Finance and Executive leadership on M&A diligence, board reporting, budget variance analysis, and margin optimization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8–12+ years of accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting and in-house experience
BA/BS in Accounting or Business Adjacent program; CPA strongly preferred
Experience in high-growth and/or multi-entity environments
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
Experience with audits and building processes from the ground up
Healthcare or regulated industry experience is a strong plus, but not required
Systems-oriented mindset (experience with systems such as Campfire, Rippling and Ramp strongly preferred)
Highly detail-oriented but able to operate at a strategic level
